Thanks to its small particle size (0.01-0.1 µm),
BARIFINE provides superior transparency
compared to general barium sulfate
when sufficiently dispersed, allowing for use
as a transparency extender pigment.
２．Improves the jet blackness of carbon black
Dispersing BARIFINE together with carbon black lets
BARIFINE act as a medium to break up the clumping
of carbon black.
This medium effect allows for improved jet blackness
and reduced dispersion time.
３．Better color development, coating film gloss, and smoothness of organic pigments
Adding BARIFINE promotes the dispersion of organic
pigments for better color development and gloss of
coating film.
４．Improves plate-like filler orientation and suppresses swimming
The addition of BARIFINE improves the plate-like
filler orientation and suppresses swimming,
resulting in increased coating film brightness.
